What is the Addiction Treatment Admissions Process?

At Beaches Recovery Center, the admissions process is about listening to our clients and properly evaluating their needs. We want to be sure that we find the right program for each individual. Through our comprehensive assessment, we may find that some people would do best in an outpatient program, while others would require more intensive treatment episode.

No matter what their specific needs, our intake professional discusses the following with each and every potential client:

  • General Admissions Requirements — Beaches treats both men and women (age 18 or older) who are suffering from alcoholism and/or drug dependency. In addition, we seek to improve both physical and mental health by treating co-occurring or dual disorders—the combination of chemical dependency and a psychiatric or emotional illness.
  • Intervention — For those seeking guidance in staging an intervention for a loved one, Beaches has trained interventionists on staff who will work with families and potential clients in breaking through the denial that typically impedes them from entering treatment. In addition, we also have a network of interventionists throughout the country who can aid in facilitating out-of-state interventions.
  • Detoxification — Recognizing that some of those who enter treatment must immediately enter detox as well, Beaches offers assistance with a sub-acute detoxification center in beautiful Jacksonville Florida.
