You’ve made the decision to get help for your substance abuse and now you need to know if Humana drug and alcohol treatment coverage is available to you. In 2009, the President signed a bill that established the Affordable Care Act. Since the passing of this new law, which went into effect in 2012, all insurance company’s medical insurance policies are underwritten to include drug & alcohol treatment coverage, including Humana. Therefore, the answer is yes, they will help with your treatment costs as required by law.
While Humana is obligated to cover addiction-related healthcare costs the same way it would treat costs related to any other medical conditions, the amount of coverage will vary from one policy to the next. If you have any questions about the coverage provided by your specific plan, you should consult with your prospective addiction treatment facility for verification of benefits.
Humana is one of the leading health insurance providers in the United States. With offices located throughout the nation, they provide a diverse selection of health insurance products for corporate groups, military personnel, seniors (Medicare), families and individuals. Among the list of health insurance products the company offers are medical and dental coverage, vision, pharmacy and behavioral treatment coverage. It’s in the behavioral treatment area that Humana drug and alcohol treatment coverage would be disclosed.
Over the years, certain parts of Florida have earned a reputation as an excellent destination for individuals looking for quality addiction treatment services, including a confidential executive drug rehab. If you choose a professional drug and alcohol rehab center like Beaches Recovery, you will be happy to learn that most major health care plans are accepted, including Humana drug and alcohol treatment coverage for opiate addiction rehab. As an added benefit, we focus on alternative treatment options such as partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient programs and inpatient drug rehab which provide you with the quality treatment you need while also being cost-effective.
The longer you try to endure your addiction, the more significant the physical, mental and emotional damage is going to be. The only way out from under the dark cloud of addiction is through rehab. With the availability of Humana drug and alcohol treatment coverage, most, possibly even all, of the financial obstacles to getting help have been removed. It becomes your decision whether you want to reclaim your life.
