Oct292019UncategorizedWe’ve decided to start highlighting some of our employees each month because we think they are not only exceptional employees, but also exceptional human beings. They go above and beyond at work and at home to represent the Beaches Recovery and Tides Edge team. We’re so proud to call them a part of our family! This month, we’d like to introduce you to Bonnie, a Behavioral Tech at Tides Edge. We think she’s pretty awesome. When we asked her why she thought she was being highlighted, well, check out her response and story here! “My name is Bonnie. I’ve been a Behavioral Tech at Tides Edge Recovery for over two years. I started at Beaches Recovery and transferred to Tides Edge which is the detox part of Beaches. I love working for Beaches and I love working at Tides! I enjoy what I do and find it very rewarding! I love helping others in ways that I was and in ways that I was not helped during the beginning of my own detox and recovery. I am the first point of contact for each patient who arrives at the detox and I am with them throughout their stay. When asked why I think I am being highlighted my initial response is I don’t know. After putting some thought into why, I believe it’s because I genuinely care for each person who comes through our facility. I am able to establish a professional, personal connection with them. I go above and beyond to make sure that they receive the care and compassion that they deserve. If it’s not something I can personally do, I will make sure that I help find a solution. I enforce the rules of the facility by practicing discipline and structure not only at work but in my own personal life. I am respected by our patients and my co-workers, and I respect each and every one of them too! I work my own personal program of recovery daily and in doing that I live as an example at work and at home to show others that change is possible. No matter what, I keep moving forward! I am honored to be a part of the Beaches Recovery and Tides Edge Recovery family and I appreciate this amazing opportunity to be highlighted. It makes me proud to be the me I am today!”Category: UncategorizedOctober 29, 2019Post navigationPreviousPrevious post:Damaging Effects of Alcohol on The BrainNextNext post:How to Control AnxietyRelated postsSide Effects Of Weed: Panic Attacks And MoreMay 11, 2022Accredited Drug Rehab CentersSeptember 30, 2021Signs of Cocaine AddictionSeptember 25, 2021What Can You Do to Reduce the Cost of Rehab?August 26, 2021Executive Drug Treatment Program – Is Florida the Right Choice?January 17, 2020Helping HandsJanuary 16, 2020
