Jan62020RecoveryUncategorizedWe’ve decided to start highlighting some of our employees and Alumni each month because we think they are exceptional human beings. They go above and beyond in the community and at home to represent the Beaches Recovery and Tides Edge team. We’re so proud to call them a part of our Beaches family, bringing hope to so many others each day! This month, we’d like to introduce you to Sandi, a part of our Beaches Recovery staff . We think she’s pretty awesome. When we asked her why she thought she was being highlighted, well, check out her response and story here!“My name is Sandi Johnson. I am a Behavioral Health Technician and a Driver for Beaches Recovery, and I’ve been with them for a little over 2 years now. There are several reasons I love my job, but first and foremost, it’s the clients. I don’t even feel like they are a part of my job. The clients are more like part of my ever expanding family! Working with them on a daily basis and getting to know each one personally helps me to better know how I can help them reach their goals. MY goal is to make sure they leave Beaches with enough ammunition to fight this disease of addiction and become the success I know they can be. Another part of my job I love is the staff! Each department plays a vital role in the success of our clients. They too are like family to me.My job is not only rewarding because of our clients, it is a blessing in my life as well. Four years ago I was a mess! I was almost bald, 30 shades of gray (not 60), and I weighed only 92 lbs! If I hadn’t been surrounded by so many loving people to help me get healthy and sober, I most definitely wouldn’t be here to talk about it or help others.I would like to think I was picked to represent Beaches Recovery because of my dedication to our clients. They mean everything to me. Beaches is not just a job to me. It’s a huge part of my life!In closing, I need to say that absolutely none of this would be possible for me if it weren’t for God! I don’t make a move these days unless I feel it is God driven!”Sandi, we’re so thankful you’re a part of our staff and Beaches family!Categories: Recovery, UncategorizedJanuary 6, 2020Post navigationPreviousPrevious post:Accredited Intensive Outpatient Program for Alcohol Addiction in Florida NextNext post:An Accredited Cocaine Rehab Will Promote Prevention After TreatmentRelated postsHow Can I Stop Smoking Weed?April 5, 2023What are the Signs of a Drinking Problem?March 4, 2023What Are the Benefits of Sobriety?March 3, 2023Understanding Sobriety and What It MeansFebruary 5, 2023Are There Street Names For Drugs?January 18, 2023How Long Does It Take To Get Off Suboxone?January 3, 2023
